Gort Flameproofing Services was founded in June 1970 and has built a reputation over the years to become one of the leading flameproofing companies in the UK, servicing both the domestic and international markets. Originally established to focus on the cut-length market, this is still available as well as many other services such as a range of treatments that include European and IMO standards.

ABOUT US
We have treated a whole range of unusual items, from cork tiles and leather hides to printed paper (for floating down onto the audience at The Palace Theatre Manchester).
Our on-site work has included treating stage sets for Metallica and Madonna, the stage curtains for Leeds Grand Theatre and at many other venues including hotels and local authority premises (we are accredited suppliers to Manchester City Council).
